As our Head Padel Coach, you will be the driving force behind our on-court programming and player community as we launch our brand-new indoor padel facility in Toronto. You will design, build, and lead our padel academy from scratch, delivering top-tier coaching, organizing dynamic social and competitive events, and recruiting assistant coaches as our player base expands.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  1. ​Design and execute comprehensive coaching curricula for all levels, including introductory clinics, junior development, high-performance training, and adult leagues.
  2. ​Deliver engaging private, semi-private, and group coaching sessions.
  3. ​Recruit, train, and manage assistant coaches.

Community Building & Player Engagement

  1. ​Act as the face of the club on court, creating an inviting, energetic, and inclusive community for beginners and seasoned players alike.
  2. ​Organize and direct club tournaments, Americanos, ladder leagues, open mixers, and corporate events.
  3. ​Implement structured player level-rating assessments to ensure balanced, competitive match play across all events.

Operations & Growth

  1. ​Collaborate with management to maximize court utilization during peak and off-peak hours.
  2. ​Drive player retention and acquisition through introductory workshops and conversion clinics.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years
  • Languages: English

Qualifications & Experience

  1. Certification: Certified Padel Coach credential from a recognized governing body (e.g., FIP, USPA, LTA, or national equivalent); high-level competitive playing experience is an asset.
  2. Experience: 3+ years of professional padel coaching, with proven experience designing group curricula and running club programs.
  3. Leadership: Prior experience building, training, and managing a coaching team or managing club-wide schedules.
  4. Community-Centric: High energy, approachable communication style, and a track record of driving member engagement and event participation.
  5. Eligibility: Legally authorized to work in Canada. We can provide permit help if required.

Salary & benefits

  • Employment Type: Full-time, Contractor, Per diem
  • Salary: USD 25,000 - 30,000 per year
