World Pro Coach is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Juniors Development Tennis Coach for an international coaching opportunity in Guangzhou, China.
The selected coach will work primarily with children in the U8 and U10 age groups, delivering structured and age-appropriate tennis programmes that develop strong technical foundations, movement, coordination, confidence and enjoyment of the game.
This position is ideal for a patient, energetic and motivated coach who understands the different stages of junior player development and can create a positive, engaging and professional training environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and deliver structured tennis sessions for U8 and U10 players.
- Teach age-appropriate technical fundamentals and movement skills.
- Develop players’ coordination, balance, agility and ball-control skills.
- Use appropriate courts, tennis balls and equipment for each age group.
- Create a safe, positive and enjoyable learning environment.
- Evaluate player development and monitor individual progress.
- Provide professional feedback and encouragement to young players.
- Communicate effectively with academy staff and parents when required.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, organization and player safety.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Relevant experience coaching children in the U8 and U10 age groups.
- Good understanding of junior tennis development.
- Patient, energetic and able to motivate young players.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Professional, responsible and committed to player development.
- Able to work effectively within an international academy environment.
- Available to relocate to Guangzhou, China.
- A recognized tennis coaching qualification is preferred.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- Monthly salary: €3,000–€4,000 after tax
- Accommodation: Paid accommodation provided
