World Pro Coach is recruiting a skilled Performance Tennis Coach for a professional tennis academy in Shanghai, China.
The selected coach will work with competitive junior players, deliver structured individual and group training sessions and support players during tournaments and training camps.
This position is suitable for a motivated coach with experience developing ITF Junior players, a strong international competitive playing background and a high-level hitting ability.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver individual and group performance tennis sessions.
- Coach and develop competitive ITF Junior players.
- Create structured technical, tactical, physical and mental training programmes.
- Act as a high-level hitting partner during training sessions.
- Prepare players for national and international tournaments.
- Travel with academy players to tournaments and training camps.
- Analyse matches and provide professional performance feedback.
- Monitor player development and adjust training plans when required.
- Communicate effectively with players, parents and academy management.
- Maintain professional standards on and off the court.
- Complete a monthly workload of 160 working hours.
Requirements
- Languages: English
- Experience coaching and developing ITF Junior players.
- Strong international competitive playing background.
- High-level playing and hitting ability.
- Strong technical and tactical knowledge of competitive tennis.
- Ability and willingness to travel with players.
- Available to work 160 hours per month.
- Ready to relocate to Shanghai immediately.
- Professional, responsible, organised and highly motivated.
- Candidates aged between 24 and 32 are preferred.
- Preference may be given to nationalities eligible for visa-free entry to China, subject to applicable immigration and employment requirements.
