Successful Placement: Uros Delic – Tennis Coach in Guangzhou, China
Uros Delic from Serbia brings experience from several sides of competitive tennis to his new coaching appointment in Guangzhou, China, secured through World Pro Coach.
A former nationally ranked junior and NCAA collegiate player, Uros has worked in coaching, club operations and international tournament management. His appointment at Guangzhou Jindou Tennis Club connects that varied background with a role focused on developing competitive juniors.
Junior Development Opportunity in Guangzhou
The position centres on coaching talented players aged 8–12, combining structured training with preparation for competition. Responsibilities include planning development programmes, assessing progress and helping players improve their technical, tactical, physical and mental skills.
Uros’s experience designing individual and group training programmes provides a practical connection to those responsibilities.
The placement relates to the Junior Development Tennis Coach position in Guangzhou, China, advertised through World Pro Coach.
About Uros Delic
Uros competed internationally at junior and senior level and was a Top 10 nationally ranked junior in Serbia. He reached a peak UTR of 11.66 in March 2022.
His playing background includes membership of the Thomas Jefferson University men’s tennis team in Philadelphia, where he competed in NCAA collegiate tennis. He also trained at BTT Tennis Academy in Barcelona.
Alongside his tennis commitments, Uros graduated summa cum laude from Thomas Jefferson University with a degree in International Business and a minor in Finance.
ATP Tour Coaching and Match Preparation
Uros’s coaching experience includes working with Dusan Obradovic on the ATP Tour, covering on-court training, match preparation and tournament scheduling.
Since 2021, he has coached players ranging from beginners to professionals, delivering individual and group sessions. His training programmes have addressed technical, tactical and physical development goals.
This combination gives his coaching background both a daily training perspective and experience of the practical demands surrounding professional competition.
Understanding the Tournament Environment

He helped organise two ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors events: the XXIV Serbia Open 2022 and XXV Serbia Open 2023, involving players from more than 50 countries.
His responsibilities included player entries, officials, hospitality, scheduling and on-site logistics. That experience adds an organisational dimension to his understanding of junior competition, extending beyond the training court.
Uros’s Perspective on the Move
