About Vitaly Denisov
Vitaly holds Russian and Italian nationality and began his coaching career at Tennis Club Match Ball Bra in Italy in 2002.
During his time there, he worked with players ranging from young children to professionals. As an assistant to head coach Massimo Puci, he also gained experience sparring with academy professionals, including Andrey Golubev and Mikhail Kukushkin.
He later spent seven years at Druzba Tennis Club in Russia, with responsibilities extending beyond lessons to organising training groups, coordinating other coaches and running tournaments. His work also included collaboration with the regional federation on training leading junior athletes.
In 2024, Vitaly became Head Coach at GD Tennis Academy in Istanbul, working with ITF-ranked juniors and supporting fellow coaches with training programmes and age-appropriate player development.
Experience with International Junior Competition
Vitaly’s recent coaching work includes private training with juniors competing on the ITF circuit. His CV records a player’s improvement from approximately No. 3,000 to No. 1,050 in the ITF junior rankings, alongside a J30 title in Bahrain in February 2026.
